Behzod Abduraimov is an Uzbek pianist whose performances combine an immense depth of musicality with phenomenal technique and breath-taking delicacy. Behzod won the London International Piano Competition in 2009 at the age of 18, which launched his career. He continues to perform internationally in solo recitals, chamber music performances, and as soloist with leading orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra and Münchner Philharmoniker. In May 2018, he was Artist in Residence at the Zaubersee Festival in Lucerne, which included a performance of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2, as well as a number of chamber recitals. Behzod is an award-winning recording artist – his debut recital CD won both the Choc de Classica and the Diapason Découverte. He is an alumnus of Missouri’s Park University’s International Centre for Music and now serves as the artist in residence at its International Centre for Music.
