With 300 students aged 8 - 18, Chetham's is the largest specialist Music School in the UK and the only one in the north of England, offering a world-class music education in the heart of Manchester. Its students are drawn from across the UK and internationally. Chetham’s students enjoy regular tuition in solo instrumental lessons, music theory, chamber music and large ensembles, all led by professional performing musicians.

A full programme of performances takes place in School and across the region, with senior ensembles travelling regularly to London and overseas.
