London-based Pavel Kolesnikov was born in Siberia into a family of scientists. He became an overnight sensation in 2012 at the Honens International Piano Competition, when he took home the world’s largest piano prize.
Celebrated for his imaginative, thought-provoking programming and his fresh, often unexpected perspective on familiar pieces, Pavel has given recitals at venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall, and Wigmore Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
Chopin A Selection of Nocturnes, Mazurkas and Waltzes
